The Center for Positive Organizations at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business works to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world application of positive business practices to help leaders and organizations thrive.
When we began our engagement with the Center we quickly realized that the faculty at the Center were well known in the academic community for developing the field of Positive Organizational Scholarship, but that there was a disconnect between the research and its potential for impact in the business community.
Working with the Center we developed a new name, brand and communications strategy to advance their cause beyond the walls of academia and into the practice realm while building the Center’s awareness on campus and within the academic community. The result of this work included a new website, branding the Center’s suite of research-based tools, development of videos and other traditional and non-traditional communication tools to help them reach their diverse audience.
The culmination of this rebranding effort came in May when the Center hosted its first Positive Business Conference where over 300 academics and business leaders came together for a weekend of sessions focused on positive leadership.
